Hello Bloom is a community events site run by volunteer members of the Bloom events committee for the Bloom neighborhood in Fort Collins, Colorado. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.
Visitors
You can browse events on this site without creating an account. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't run analytics on visitor behavior.
Committee members
Committee members sign in with their email address. We send a one-time sign-in link to that address. We don't use passwords. After signing in, a single session cookie keeps you signed in. It isn't used for tracking or shared with anyone else. Only email addresses added to the committee list by a site administrator can sign in.
Event content
When a committee member creates or edits an event, the title, description, date, location, and any photo they upload are stored and shown publicly on this site.
Text message (SMS) program
Hello Bloom offers an opt-in text message program for residents of the Bloom neighborhood in Fort Collins, Colorado, to receive event reminders and community notifications. Signing up requires your affirmative opt-in. We don't enroll anyone automatically.
We collect your phone number, and your name if you provide it, solely to send you Hello Bloom event reminders and notifications. We don't use this information for any other purpose, and we don't sell, rent, trade, or share your phone number or any other personal information with third parties, including the neighborhood's developer, builder, or HOA, for marketing or any other purpose.
Message frequency varies depending on upcoming neighborhood events. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by emailing hello@hellobloom.club. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Service providers
We use a small number of third-party services to run the site. This includes a database host to store event data, an email provider to deliver sign-in links, a file storage provider to host event photos, and, once our text program is live, a messaging provider to deliver SMS notifications. These providers process data only as needed to provide those services.
